The Gaslight Anthem - Great Expectations
The Gaslight Anthem, a pearl from New Jersey, a missing link between
Bruce Springsteen and punkrock. I heard band first time when they
released their second album called The '59 Sound through SideOneDummy
record label, it hitted me and there was a love at first sight. Ever
since that their albums has played in my player time after time.
They've listened their Dylans, Springsteens and Clashes. Great lyrics,
great melodies, great sounds and great attitude. It sounds right. One
of my favourite "new" bands definitely.
